Beaded Snake by the Huichol Indians of Northern Mexico.  Serpents in the Huichol culture are responsible for bringing  rain or imparting skill in embroidery.  The Huichol People live in the remote mountain states of Nayarit and Jalisco, Mexico. Each tiny glass seed bead is individually pressed onto a beeswax coated surface of carved wood or a hollowed out gourd.
